OPLAN KALULUWA

The 611th Philippine Coast Guard Auxilliary Squadron with the MDRRMC-Kalibo, Philippine Red Cross, and SEALS recently conducted a special operation for the community of the Municipality of Kalibo for the yearly celebration of the "Undas" held last November 1, 2011. The areas covered were major cemeteries of Kalibo and the operation was made in order to render public assistance for the community such as first aid, rescue, and public information.

The 611th Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary squadron recently updated its photo content in this blog to show to the public what we do and who we are, that the masses will be aware that their exist an organization who is ready to serve the community in times of need in community service, rescue, and retrieval. Despite lack of equipments and transport even rain or shine the unit is ready to serve with one goal to serve the public. Recently it has joined activity with the organic Philippine Coast Guard, LGU's, and Government Agencies in a coastal clean-up in Navitas, Numancia, Aklan which was held last September 18, 2011. The unit is also conducting a regular jogging exercise every sunday with a rendezvous point in Pastrana Park, Kalibo, Aklan.

INDOCTRINATION AND SEMINAR FOR NEW RECRUITS
The 611th Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary Squadron recently conducted its indoctrination and seminar for the new recruits in Barangay Navitas, Numancia, Aklan last May 29, 2011. The activity was attended by a number of recruits from several NGO's and Rescue Teams as well as to include several legends in the PCGA Service; Capt Edmund Infante of the PCGA 606 - Antique, Commo Miguel Labatiao PCGA 609 -  Boracay , Admiral Leonard Tirol PCGA 609 - Boracay, and LCDR Terence Alsosa PCG - Station Commander PCG Caticlan Station.

The success of the activity was made through the leadership of Capt Winston Carillo, PCGA 611 - Kalibo and its officers, staff, and members.
